The poor man's Bar Trip

So after I finished the bar exam in July, I wanted to go on a Bar Trip. Most of my friends went to fancy places like Europe, Australia, or on a cruise. Since I have no job, I couldn't afford a fancy trip so my mom and I took a 3 day trip to Baton Rouge, LA. The first night we had a free hotel room at one of the casinos and the other 2 nights, we stayed at the Springhill Suites. We definitely travel in style :)

We toured the new Capitol building and the old Capitol building. We also went to several of the Plantation homes in the area. I love the homes and the history. We also ate lots of yummy cajun food. I think this might be my second favorite type of food with mexican being the first.

We also drove through LSU. I would have
loved to go to this college.

There mascot is the tiger. They have a live tiger on campus.

Plantation #1- can't remember the name but it was beautiful
 Oak trees everywhere
